an unpleasant end.

The Season of The Unpleasantness is done.

When the “Unpleasantness” started to unfold early this year, we could not have imagined the wild ride this season turned out to be.

One bright spot was/is Luke Fickell. His character was tested and he delivered in a big way. He never publicly complained about the hand he had been dealt. He stayed focused and he kept his team on track.

I surmize that his decision to have Tress address the team contained a slight gesture to the NCAA. It may have consequences, but so what. What a cool move.

So, the long winter begins. Keep the faith that Spring awaits.
